In February and March of 2017, Mrs. Kreuz and Mrs. Pasquale's 2nd Graders read, enjoyed, and learned about Caldecott, Buckeye, and Dr. Seuss (Theodore Geisel) award winning books. After several discussions about what makes a good book, they decided on the criteria for the Park Eagle Award. Park Eagle Award is given to books that: -have good pictures. -are funny. -are exciting. -help students to learn to read. -encourage them to read more.
